Description of Material
Body (missing its posterior end) 40-60 mm long, 2-5 mm wide; dorso-ventrally flattened, particularly in the posterior half; background colour the same dorsally and ventrally — dusky-red in the foregut region, changing fairly abruptly to flesh colour in the midgut region. Body widest immediately posterior to cephalic lobe, gradually narrowing toward the posterior end. Posterior end is missing so, presence or absence of caudal cirrus cannot be determined. Cephalic lobe about twice as long as it is wide, triangular, tapering to a rounded tip, densely speckled with white. White speckling extends to posterior end of lateral cephalic slits dorsally, but is less extensive ventrally, where it is only present anterior to mouth. Cerebral ganglia are not visible through body wall, but the lateral nerve cords are externally noticeable in midgut region as red lines. Ocelli lacking.
Ecology
Associated with green calcareous algae (Halimeda).
Distribution
Only known from Atauro Island, Timor-Leste.
