Taxonomic Remarks

The new species of Bathyeliasona differ from the other species belonging to this genus by having 11 papille in the proboscis and the new species differed from B. nigra by having iridescent purple elytra and having many thin, long papillae along the edge of the elytra. Additionally, this will be the first species that it will describe the elytra, all other species lack the description
