Taxonomic Remarks
This species shares about the same spiral and axial sculpture with R. sp2. But differs with R. sp2 by its more shouldered whorls, more translucent shell, different aperture shape, lower number of axial ribs, presence of a strong subsutural cord, stronger denticulation on the inside of the outer lip and the presence of a denticulated rim on the columella

Description of Material
Shell of average size for the genus, adult size up to 3.5 mm; fusifom with slightly rounded whorls. Slightly shouldered. Suture slightly impressed. Semi-tranlucent. Protoconch paucispiral, consisting of about 1.5 smooth whorls. Transition to teleoconch clearly visible. Teleoconch consisting of 3.0-3.1 whorls. Axial sculpture of strong axial ribs on all whorls. About 16-17 ribs on each whorl. The last axial rib close to the aperture is much stronger sloping to the edge of the aperture. Spiral sculpture absent on the first whorl and on a part of the second whorl. Rather obsolete on the rest of the second whorl and only clearly visible on the last whorl. This spiral sculpture exists of a stronger subsutural cord and flat spiral cords with very narrow interspaces on the rest of the whorl, which overrun the axial ribs. On the last whorl 13-14 of these cords are present, going over in the basal cords. Basal cords ventrally ranging to about the adapical end of the columella. Aperture rather narrow for the genus and more S-shaped, about 48% of shell height. Outside of outer lip with continuation of the spiral sculpture and basal cords. Inside of outer lip with a strong sinus on the adapical end and a clear ridge of about 7 semi-merged denticles. Most adapical and most abapical denticles stronger, middle ones weaker. Columellar callus thick, not raised, with a rim of merged denticles. Parietal callus clearly present. Siphonal canal short, open, slighly recurved. Teleoconch completely semi-translucent white. Aperture, columella and parietal callus white. Protoconch cream to pale orange on the first part, fading to off-white to near the transition with the teleoconch. Height of holotype: 3.3 mm
Ecology
Direct developing species with paucispiral protoconch, so non planctotrophic larvae. Most likely endemic.
