Taxonomic Remarks
This species looks superficially close to R. sp11. It differs by its almost lacking spiral sculpture, different form of the aperture, lack of the subsutural cord, other denticulation on the inside of the outer lip, weaker columellar denticulation and different color pattern.

Description of Material
Shell of rather small size for the genus, adult size up to 3.0 mm; fusifom with slightly rounded whorls. Slightly shouldered. Slightly translucent. Suture slightly impressed. Protoconch paucispiral, consisting of about 1.3 smooth whorls. Transition to teleoconch clearly visible. Teleoconch consisting of about 3.1-3.2 whorls. Axial sculpture of about 17 strong axial ribs on all whorls. The last axial rib next to the aperture is stronger. Penultimate and third last rib much weaker than all other ribs. Spiral sculpture absent on all whorls except for te last 25% of the last whorl, where spiral sculpture is weakly visible. This sculpture consists of 11-12 flat spiral cords with very narrow interspaces, which overrun the axial ribs and go abapically over in the much clearly present basal cords. Basal cords ventrally ranging to the adapical end of the columella. Aperture average width for the genus, about 48% of shell height. Outside of outer lip thickened with continuation of the spiral sculpture and basal cords. Inside of outer lip with a weak sinus on the adapical end and 6 denticles below this sinus. Three adapical most denticles stronger. Columellar callus thick, slightly raised, with weak denticulation. Parietal callus clearly present. Siphonal canal short, open, slighly recurved. Teleoconch semi-translucent whitish with non-transulcen white zones on some of the axial ribs and pale brownish irregular markings all over the teleoconch whorls. Aperture with this pattern shining through. Columella and parietal callus white. Protoconch white to off-white. Height of holotype: 2.9 mm
Ecology
Direct developing species with paucispiral protoconch, so non planctotrophic larvae. Most likely endemic.
