Taxonomic Remarks
[This species shares the obsolete spiral sculpture, apart from the subsutural cord on the early teleoconch whorls with Retizafra sp5. It differs by its more elegant, thinner shell, much weaker axial sculpture, absense of a columellar ridge and different color pattern.

Description of Material
Shell of rather small size for the genus, adult size up to 2.8 mm; fusifom with slightly rounded whorls. Suture slightly impressed. Semi-translucent. Protoconch paucispiral, consisting of about 1.2 smooth whorls. Transition to teleoconch clearly visible. Teleoconch consisting of about 3-3.1 whorls. Axial sculpture very weak, almost obsolete, consisting of close set riblets on all whorls. The last axial ribs close to the aperture are slightly stronger. Spiral sculpture consisting of a thin subsutural cord on all whorls. Other spiral sculpture absent on the first whorls, very weak on the end of the penultimate whorl and becoming clearly visible on the last whorl. This spiral sculpture on the last whorl exists of about 11 weak rather flat cords with very narrow interspaces. which overrun the axial ribs, and going over in the basal cords. Apart from the subsutural cord, there is a zone without spiral sculture on the adipacal side of the last whorl. Basal cords clearly present, ventrally ranging to just above the middle of the columella. Aperture average width for the genus, about 48% of shell height. Outside of outer lip only very weakly thickened, with the continuation of the basal cords and spiral sculpture clearly present. Inside of outer lip with a very weak sinus on the adapical end and not denticulate. Columellar callus thick, slightly raised, inside without a ridge and not denticulate. Parietal callus rather weak, but clealy present. Siphonal canal short, open, slightly recurved. Shell color pale cream on the first teleoconch whorl, later teleoconch whorls off-white with a subsutural cream band. On the last worls there is also a second band visible on the abapical side of the shell. The inside of the aperture also shows these two bands, columella alos cream, parietal callus off-white. Protoconch semi-translucent brownish. Height of holotype: 2.8 mm
Ecology
Direct developing species with paucispiral protoconch, so non planctotrophic larvae. Most likely endemic.
