Taxonomic Remarks

Closest to Sinobatis bulbicauda but differs in disc shape and some other characters but adult specimens needed before detailed description can be accurately undertaken. Differs in sequences of the ND2 gene from S. bulbicauda, S. caerulea and S. filicauda from Australia.
