Taxonomic Remarks
No species of this genus has been found from the East Pacific Ocean. This species could be the first record from the East Pacific Ocean and the first record from Chilean water. It is different from Imbricacis sp. 1 with having larger thick coenenchyma screlites.

Description of Material
Colony: Height 8.613 cm, width 7.456 cm (Fig.1 above; largest of broken pieces); Branch colour is yellow with yellow polyps when alive.; Shape of the colony: Uniplanar fan; Branching patterns: Irregular; Dense branching; No Anastomoses; Distribution/arrangement of polyps at tips of the branch: three side; Distribution/arrangement of polyps at main axis/stem: three side; Polyps: Height: 0.079-0.177 cm; Width: 0.166-0.218cm (Figure 2); colour of sclerites of polyp, colour of sclerites of coenenchyme: colorless
