Description of Material

One specimen from Coral Sea voyage of 225 mm length; a second specimen from northwestern Australia was 265 mm long.

Distribution

Only recorded from off Mellish Seamount in the Coral Sea voyage and from the Gascoyne Marine Park in northwestern Australia, but possibly to be a more widespread species.
