Taxonomic Remarks

Similar to Aldrovandia affinis but differs genetically and has a longer snout. Currently known from a single small juvenile so comparison to characters for known species in literature could prove difficult and ideally require larger specimens for description if confimed to be a new species.

Description of Material

Single specimen of 118 mm standard length. Many more small halosaurs still waiting to be processed which may include additional specimens (but mostly are A. affinis and A. phalacra).
