Taxonomic Remarks

It might be conspecific with P. fortispina, but that species has, at least, a shorter pereopod-1 propodus, shorter uropod exopod, and stronger inferodistal spine on the pereopod-1 propodus.

Benthic species, possibly shallow burrower or near/on-surface in soft sediment.
