Taxonomic Remarks

Description of Material

These two specimens – one an ovigerous female in poor condition, and the other a manca, conform to the general description of Paradoxapseudes although more work and material would be required to confirm this.

Ecology

Benthic species, probably a shallow burrower in soft sediment.

Bounty Trough, 775 m, TAN2402 Stn 11.
