Taxonomic Remarks

This species is probably close to the species Inconnivus billibunteri described from the Bass Strait, but I. magdalenae has (at least) spines on the leading edge of the basis on pereopods 1-3.

A robust, well-calcified species, with bulbous pleotelson and very short uropods held beneath, with very small fused exopod.

Ecology

Benthic sediments. Possibly a shallow burrower.
