Taxonomic Remarks
This species is assigned to the superfamily Pyramidelloidea based on the elongate-conical shell, smooth teleoconch, and heterostrophic protoconch typical of pyramidellid gastropods. The shell differs from other known regional congeners by its relatively large size, inflated last whorl, and short conical spire with weakly defined sutures. The teleoconch surface is mostly smooth with faint growth lines, and the body whorl is proportionally expanded compared to related taxa. This combination of characters suggests that the specimen represents a distinct taxon within Pyramidelloidea, although examination of the protoconch orientation and internal morphology would be required for a precise generic placement.

Description of Material
Small gastropod with elongate-conical shell and relatively short spire. Shell thin, translucent to pale yellowish, with smooth teleoconch sculpture consisting mainly of fine growth lines. The body whorl is inflated and represents most of the shell volume, while the spire is short and tapering. The aperture is oval and relatively large. The soft body is translucent white to pale cream, with elongated cephalic tentacles visible in living specimens.
Ecology
Several living specimens were observed associated with siboglinid tubeworms (Lamellibrachia sp.) in a chemosynthetic habitat. The species occurs on soft sediments surrounding tubeworm aggregations at depths around 245 m, under environmental conditions of approximately 10.7 °C and 34.9 PSU salinity.
Distribution
Currently known from a deep-sea locality in the southwestern Atlantic Ocean at approximately 35.0449° S, 52.2741° W, at a depth of about 245–256 m.
