Taxonomic Remarks
This species differs from A. sp18 by its bigger size, more elongate protoconch, the absence of basal cords, the absence of denticles on the columella and the more elongate aperture. It is also close to Zafra stricosa Monsecour & Monsecour, 2016,which is most likely not a Zafra but an Anachis. The new species differs from this species by its straighter whorls, more bulbous shell, the absence of basal cords, lower number of denticles and different protoconch color.

Description of Material
Shell of small size for the genus, adult size up to 4.3 mm; fusifom, rather globose. Slightly rounded whorls. Suture slightly impressed. Protoconch paucispiral, consisting of about 1.4-1.5 whorls. Transition to teleoconch clearly visible. Teleoconch consisting of about 3.25 whorls. Axial sculpture clearly present on all whorls, consisting of close set axial ribs with rather wide interspaces. There are 12 of these ribs on every whorl. Last 25% of the last whorl without axial ribs, except for a rib near the aperture. Spiral sculpture completely absent, also no basal cords,. Aperture average width for the genus, about 51% of shell height. Outside of outer lip thickened. Inside of outer lip without a clear sinus on the adapical end and with 5 denticles. The most adapical and most abapical rather strong, the ones in between very weak to obsolete. Columellar callus clearly present, slightly raised, smooth. Parietal callus weak. Siphonal canal short, open, slightly recurved. First part of first teleoconch whorl yellowish-cream. Later teleoconch whorls white/off-white. Aperture and columella white. Protoconch yellowish. Height of holotype: 4.3 mm
Ecology
Direct developing species with paucispiral protoconch, so non planctotrophic larvae. Most likely endemic.
