Taxonomic Remarks

A quite slender species with prominent rectangular anal valves, relatively long antennules, large chelipeds, and short curved uropod endopods, with a vestigial exopod. More material is required before it can be fully described and its taxonomic position confirmed.

Only two specimens of this tanaellid recorded. It is not readily attributable to any existing tanaellid genus.

Benthic sediments, probably as a shallow burrower.
