Taxonomic Remarks
In the Magallanes region, the only Agladrillia species currently described is Agladrillia fuegiensis. Agladrillia sp. nov. is distinguished from A. fuegiensis by its sculpture and colour pattern. The new species exhibits fewer axial ribs, which are also more widely spaced than in A. fuegiensis, where axial ribs are typically more numerous and denser. In addition, Agladrillia sp. nov. lacks the colour deepening below the middle of the body whorl forming an obscure spiral band, a feature reported for A. fuegiensis.

Description of Material
Shell shortly fusiform, purplish-pink, with the siphonal canal (cauda) distinctly paler. Spire of c. 7 whorls; the first two apical whorls large, smooth, and rounded; remaining whorls evenly convex, without an evident concavity on the upper (subsutural) area. Sculpture consisting of oblique axial ribs (approximately 8 on the body whorl), moderately elevated and relatively widely spaced, becoming weaker toward the mid-section of the last whorl, fine growth lines also present. Aperture length is about two-fifths of total shell length; outer lip thin, broadly and deeply sinuate near the suture. Columella slightly arched at mid-length, oblique at the base. Siphonal canal short, wide, and slightly recurved. Shell length 7 mm.
