Taxonomic Remarks

Not in the South Africa, WIO and EIO literture. Only 8 species of Homoscleromorpha currently described from the WIO and South Africa east coast.

Description of Material

Thinly encrusting, 7 mm lenght x 5 mm wide x 1 mm thick. Colour in situ cream, in preservative (ethanol) cream. Sponge is firm and dense with a smooth, leathery surface.
