Expeditions Logistics Coordinator

The Ocean Census is actively seeking an Expeditions Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team to support the expeditions team working on a predominantly international program. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with experience in either international logistics, scientific field operations, maritime operations, or media production.
We are looking for an individual with relevant experience to support the Expedition Team in travel, administrative and logistical aspects of implementing expeditions – predominantly focused on the team’s travel, visas, participation agreements, apparel sizing, and shipping of equipment to / from the Expedition – noting the travel is booked through Ocean Census’s agent.

Workshop Coordinator

The Ocean Census is actively seeking a Workshop Coordinator to join our dynamic team to manage the workshop and related processes with an international alliance of partners.
The Workshop Coordinator is responsible for developing and managing all the species discovery workshops (including leading some) and the curation of all specimens collected through Ocean Census. Additional responsibilities and opportunities are phased into the development of the role from April 2025, and this may include participating in some research expeditions.

Head of Science

The Ocean Census is actively seeking a Head of Science to join our dynamic team and lead the science programme to discover ocean life and to develop, manage and coordinate the international alliance of science partners contributing to the Census.
As Head of Science for the Ocean Census, you will lead one of the major global marine biodiversity programmes of the decade, radically advance our knowledge of ocean life, catalyse global marine conservation, and harness and champion equitable, international collaboration.
