Isla Monaghan
Workshop Coordinator
Isla is a Workshop Coordinator at Ocean Census, with a background in marine science and aquaculture. She’s worked in both research and industry, from managing fish health on salmon farms in Scotland, to coordinating projects and fieldwork at Swansea University. More recently, Isla’s work has focused on using machine vision and behaviour of fish and shrimp to assess health and welfare. She’s passionate about ocean conservation, loves bringing people together to talk science, and is always up for a challenge (especially if it involves fish).
