Taxonomic Remarks
Serolina MoV7419 is notable for the sharp pointed sublateral carinae on pereonites 2–4 less evident on pereonites 5 and 6, and the high sharp medial carina on the pleotelson. The new species is smaller than the similar S. delaria Poore, 1987. Interim diagnosis. Female 1.17 times as long as wide; male as long as wide. Head with 3 small tubercles; middorsal crests visible in lateral view; pereonites 2–5(6) each with sublateral triangular carinae, with sharp posterior angles, concave mesially, pereonites 1–6 with submedial tubercles along posterior margins. Coxal dorsal plate margins 1–4 contiguous, plates 4–6 separated by notches; 6 narrow and acute, overlapping pleonal epimeron 2 (male) or not (female).
