No species of this genus has been found from the East Pacific Ocean. This species could be the first record from the East Pacific Ocean and the first record from Chilean water. It is different from any known species.

Description of Material
Colony Height 10 cm, width 9 cm (colony broken slightly towards base) (Fig.1) ; Branch colour: white . ## with ## polyps when alive.; Shape of the colony: Uniplanar fan; Branching patterns: Irregular ; Dense branching; Few Anastomoses; Distribution/arrangement of polyps at tips of the branch: two side; Distribution/arrangement of polyps at main axis/stem: two side; Polyps: Height: 0.052-0.081cm; Width: 0.092-0.146cm (Fig.2); colour of sclerites of polyp, colour of sclerites of coenenchyme: colorless
